The Wild Olive Luxury Guest House & Villa situated in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, extends a warm welcome to business and leisure guests alike. We pride ourselves on offering personal service and a home away from home tailored to your needs.

We are situated under Table Mountain in the leafy suburbs of Claremont/Newlands within walking distance of the Newlands Cricket Stadium, Kelvin Grove Club as well as the Sports Science Institute. We are within close driving proximity to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the University of Cape Town (UCT) and leading private hospitals. Within a 20-minute car ride, you can find glorious sandy beaches, the famous V&A Waterfront, Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Green Point Stadium and the Cape Town International Airport.

The Guest House was established in the early 2000’s and she is a grand old lady with 9 guest bedrooms. It has been modernised over the years, whilst retaining her elegance and charm. Public areas include our lush garden with a large pool, guest lounge, honesty bar and dining room.

Our lush, enclosed garden offers privacy and serenity to our guests where you can unwind, relax and enjoy the swimming pool, a drink or a Braai (South African BBQ).

Our guest lounge is located off the foyer and is available to guests for lounging with friends and family, for a short meeting with colleagues or reading a book by the fire in the winter months. Off the lounge area is our well-stocked Honesty Bar with a variety beverage and snack options. Great local restaurants and vibrant nightlife in Cape Town is plentiful with a variety of options available. However, should you wish to stay in, we offer mouth-watering home cooked light lunches and evening meals by arrangement. We serve a hearty continental and ala carte hot breakfast with options each morning. Meals are served in our dining room but also in your room or garden upon request.

Our most recent addition is the Wild Olive Villa. A home away from home in a peaceful pocket of Claremont. It is located within walking distance from grocery stores and Wild Olive Guest House. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor – one with an ensuite bathroom and a shared family bathroom. The Villa offers an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge which leads onto the outside terrace and garden. This luxurious holiday home is fully equipped with all the appliances you may need during your stay - such as dishwasher, washing machine, stove/oven, fridge, kettle, microwave, etc. There is secure parking on the premises for 2 cars.
