Oakvale Lodge Guest House - is a large family home in the heart of the Golden Mile in Rondebosch and offers guests true Home-from-Home accommodation for travellers to the "Mother City", in a comfortable and relaxed environment with personalised, friendly service provided by your hostess, Dalene du Plessis. 
All spacious rooms are en-suite (shower only) and offers a separate entrance & secure parking. A stylish fitted kitchenette allows for an affordable self-catering option with a round bistro dining table and 2 comfortable chairs. 100% cotton percale linen, DSTV , Smart 4K 42 inch flat screen television, air conditioning, electric blankets for chilly winter evenings, hairdryer, free fibre Wi-Fi (stable mesh system), bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery all add to a pleasant and comfortable stay. 
Solar panels and battery storage ensure no load shedding and additional filtered & treated borehole water supplements the municipal water supply to avoid any inconvenience. 
The beautifully maintained and spacious gardens provide spectacular views of world-famous Table Mountain from the Devil's Peak side and the sparkling, salt water swimming pool is easily accessible from all the guest rooms. 

We are ideally situated for easy access to the City Centre, UCT, Cape Town International airport, Red Cross Hospital, Bishops, major highways, Newlands cricket grounds, and many other popular tourist attractions including the Kirstenbosch Botanical garden. A Full English or Health Breakfast is served in the dining room between 7am – 9am and a health breakfast can be provided in the room for very early departures.
